Chelona Wooden Layered Story Puzzle A Frog is Growing This charming wooden puzzle tells a story in 3 layers about the life cycle of a frog: from eggs with tiny tadpoles growing within (bottom layer), to hatched tadpoles with their front and back legs beginning to grow (middle layer) to the full-grown frog relaxing on a Lily Pad (top layer). The bright, cheerful story pictures are printed directly onto the wood with safe, non-toxic stains that do not peel off. The Chelona wooden puzzle pieces and frame/trays are smooth and lovely to the touch. (Previously made in Greece, Chelona toys are now made in China under the direct supervision on location of Chelona's Founder and CEO, who has relocated to China from Greece and actually works in and supervises the Chelona toys crafting.)
